Due to a reduction in available ice time this fall and COVID 19 policies, we’ve had to reduce the number of power skating session available and the number of participants in each session. At this time, we are also unable to offer sessions to skaters aged 8 and under.
For the Fall 2020 season (September 16 – December 16), the following sessions will be available on Wednesdays:
Power Skating (ages 9 – 11)
3:30 – 4:15pm
Power Skating (ages 12+)
4:30 – 5:15pm
Registration will be limited to 10 skaters per session. The minimum number of skaters required for these sessions to run is 8. Online registration will open on Wednesday, August 26 and can be accessed here https://campbellriversc.uplifterinc.com/
Please note: In order to comply with Skate Canada COVID 19 policies, all skaters MUST review the COVID 19 protocols and sign a COVID 19 waiver (in-person) prior to their first session on ice. To ensure that we have enough time to complete this task, please ensure that you register as soon as possible once registration opens. For the Fall 2020 season, registration must take place 3 days prior to your first session. Once you have registered, you will be contacted by a CRSC board member who will make arrangements with you to meet to review the protocols and sign the waiver.

Online registration will open on Wednesday, August 26 for the following programs: Star 1, Star 2, Star 3+, Power Skating (age 9 – 11) and Power Skating (age 12+).
Things are a little different this year and there are a few reasons you won’t want to delay your registration:
1. Due to Skate Canada COVID 19 policies, spaces will be limited in
a few programs. Waitlists will be available.
2. All participants need to be made aware of our COVID 19 policies
and procedures and sign their waivers. To ensure that we have
enough time to follow up with everyone, you must be registered
3 days prior to the first day of your session.
Please note: September 1 marks the start of the 2020/2021 Skate Canada season, as such, in addition to program fees, each registration will be subject to the annual Skate Canada fee of $43.65.
Online registration can be accessed here: https://campbellriversc.uplifterinc.com/

CR Skating Club Board – UPDATE

We apologize for the delay in sharing this information but there have been many obstacles to navigate to get the upcoming season off the ground.
Unfortunately, due to a combination of COVID 19 protocols and the fact that there is only one ice rink available at Strathcona Gardens until November, we will be unable to offer several of our programs from September – December. At this time we WILL NOT be able to offer Pre-CanSkate, CanSkate, Skills and Dance, PowerSkating for ages 6 – 8 and our Adult sessions. We are very disappointed to not be able to offer these programs and are hoping that many of them will resume in January.
We will be offering programs for Star 1+ skaters and PowerSkaters from ages 9+ however due to ice time scheduling, program times and days will vary significantly from what you are all used to. The season will be starting on Tuesday, September 8.
Please continue to watch Facebook for schedule and registration updates.
Again, we apologize for the lack of program availability this fall however these circumstances are out of our control.
Please email us at info@campbellriverskatingclub.comif you have any questions.
